Businesses need to understand the performance and potential of those in leadership positions, whether as part of day to day business operations, major change programmes or M&A.
Board Assessment delivers to key decision makers valuable and actionable insights to help identify the key executives in the organisation now and in the future; who can make the strategy successful, who can take on bigger challenges and what is the right combination of people to be part of the leadership team.
The assessment process includes understanding the organisation strategy and business plan, and challenges and competency requirements for each position. Each executive is then assessed against these requirements through; psychometric profiling, referencing and additional insights from those who have first-hand experience working with the executive and a structured interview, which incorporates profiling feedback. In M&A situations, a full due diligence screening is also included as part of the Board Assessment. Assessments are only undertaken by accredited business leaders.
We provide a report on each executive assessing each individual against the agreed competency requirements for each position, identifying team effectiveness and leadership styles, and gauging potential for future roles. Where relevant, we also make recommendations on appointments, promotions, and development. A further report summarizes key findings for the whole group being assessed, highlighting skill gaps and defining critical competency issues. We can then work with key decision makers on how to effectively implement any changes needed.
